I have seen it on many forums talking about the game and its often a patch from the game maker that is needed to fix it. I am having problems with my Windows 7 taskbar. . I'll keep a look out, and if the problem reemerges, I'll reply to this thread again. This is very distracting and annoying while trying to watch a full screen video. I have an issue with the 'auto-hide'. Before the update i could use fullscreen windowed and the taskbar didn't stay on top. If you aren't sure the difference, do this: 1 Right-click Start, choose Run 2 Type iexplore. I do not want to be able to see the taskbar when I'm watching full screen You-tube or Crunchyroll videos.
I have since turned the computer on and off 5 times and each time when I go to watch videos the taskbar goes behind the fullscreen like it should so something there seems to have fixed it though time will tell I guess. I tried it out anyway, and unfortunately it didn't help. As an aside, this might not be the correct category to put this under but I couldn't see one that fit so. The text on websites is now smaller, but I can just use the zoom button on my mouse to make them larger. Right click on your Firefox icon not the one in your task bar , if it's not on your desktop, find it in the Mozilla Firefox program folder.
But this was the first in a long time that I came home after work to an update that needed a total system re-start. I personally have made more than request to have this functionality restored. It carries on doing this even if you reset Windows Explorer, which used to be the solution to this problem. The taskbar has many issues and has had it for years now though I haven't heard of this one yet. Please let us know if this works for you. Hope this works for you too.
I got it : I tried using Google Chrome but the same problem occurred, by the way. Does anyone know how to make them larger? Normally, the taskbar are hidden when fullscreen is active but no, the taskbar appear on the top of the fullscreen of Youtube. I use Windows 10, build 10586 with Classic Shell 4. It's not a website problem, it's not a Windows problem, it only does this on Mozilla Firefox's browser. How do I watch videos in full screen without the taskbar showing? There is something going on here because I am having the same exact issue.

Does it show up on top of other things, or just Netflix and YouTube? Don't know why it works, but it does. The text for my address bar and bookmarks in Chrome are now small too. In those cases, you can go into the extension options and add these sites, or just specific pages, to the exceptions list.
When you're working on something on your 2nd monitor, your YouTube video is no longer the main priority, which means that Windows will automatically pop up the taskbar. I'd like for the taskbar to not be hidden but that it'd remain behind full-screen windowed games like it used to. Hmm, fullscreen elements would be on top of the taskbar prior to the update, but currently, the taskbar is appearing on top of full-screen stuff even games. Can you explain how to cause it? Disabling shockwave flash and then installing the latest adobe flash player has not allowed me to fullscreen without the task bar. I was happy with the quick-and-dirty solution above. For what it's worth, I was able to fix it by restarting explorer. I've had this problem for as long as I can remember, on different Windows versions and different Firefox versions. I now use 2 browsers. I even know why Firefox doesn't do it, but i can't find a way to make Opera do the same, i really find it ashame since i think Opera is a better all-around browser for me. Pinning it to the taskbar again had no adverse effect.
